Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shifts with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
- Care for medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Telemetry equipment used for continuous monitoring
- EMR system and hours tracking completed through Qualivis – Lotus
- Must work at least every other holiday during the assignment
- Assignments at any location within the health system cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a minimum six month wait before starting a new assignment
- Orientation includes assessments required for telemetry and medication safety
- Dress code and further onboarding details will be provided during orientation
- Active permanent Ohio RN or compact state license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Acceptable performance on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests during orientation
- Two professional references required for consideration
