* Job Description:
** - Be a part of a fast-paced, rewarding environment as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department! - Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
- Coordinate patient care while performing all aspects of direct care in a team-oriented setting.

* Key Responsibilities:
** - Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care tailored to all ages.
- Perform accurate triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level process.
- Maintain and document an ED record that reflects nursing care and patient responses.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for efficient and effective patient care.
- Prioritize care to ensure timely response and quality patient outcomes.
- Advocate for patients through effective communication with providers, peers, and departments.
- Set and pursue professional development goals while completing required education and training.
- Assess patient and family education needs for smooth discharge planning.
- Monitor life support and technical equipment while executing complex treatments and medication administration.
- Responsively lead in crisis situations, utilizing delegation skills effectively.
- Uphold legal consent and patient rights through compliance with protocols.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized working environment before the end of each shift.
- Contribute to the training and education of pre-hospital emergency providers and students.
- Exhibit proficiency in documentation and computerized patient information systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

* Required Qualifications:
** - Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred.
- Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS within one year of hire.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
** Shift Information:** - Part-time position: 2 shifts per week from 7am to 7pm.
- Participate in an every third weekend schedule.
