Shifts Available:

Part-time 1, 72 hours per pay period; PM Shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Part-time 2, 32 hours per pay period;
Day Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Weekend rotation:
Shifts include every other weekend, weekend and night shift differentials available

Holiday rotation:
Holiday rotation

Position Summary:

Performs resident functions in accordance to nursing home standards of practice.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides for resident's personal hygiene: gives bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, and assists with showers.

Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.

Performs I&O; checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and post-mortem care.

Provides for comfort needs of residents

Promptly answers resident's call lights and requests.

Other duties are requested within scope of practice

Position Requirements:

Required

Education:

Successful completion of nursing assistant course
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state
Night Shift - current BLS required.
