Responsibilities

House Supervisor (RN) Night Shift

Full Time

The House Supervisor – Night Shift is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all inpatient units and assessment. The House Supervisor – Night Shift will oversee all facility activities including, but not limited to admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, seclusion/restraint, involuntary admission process, and relieving for rest or meal breaks. Establish, engage in and assist with the development of clinical knowledge and skills of the Nursing Staff.

Participate in the orientation of new hires. The House Supervisor provides oversight during their assigned shift for all hospital operations. The House Supervisor will be the bridge between hospital operations and communicating any needs or issues to the AOC and or CEO.

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free‑standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. Arrowhead offers a private, confidential and non‑institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Arrowhead provides a variety of specialized services for adults.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Requires minimum three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse. Preferred in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and the correct administration.

License/Certification: Currently licensed in the State of Ohio as an RN, current CPR certification, and current CPI certification.

This is a full‑time position, which will include weekends and holidays.

Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility preferred, but we will train the right person.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.

Position requires the ability to work productively and independently. Must follow the security and confidentiality guidelines as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health.
