HOUSE Supervior; RN NIGHT shift

Responsibilities

The House Supervisor – Night Shift is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all inpatient units and assessment. The House Supervisor will oversee all facility activities, including admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, seclusion/restraint, involuntary admission process, and relieving for rest or meal breaks. The role includes establishing, engaging in, and assisting with the development of clinical knowledge and skills of the nursing staff and participating in the orientation of new hires.

The House Supervisor provides oversight during their assigned shift for all hospital operations and serves as the bridge between hospital operations and communicating any needs or issues to the AOC and CEO.

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48‑bed private, free‑standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. The facility provides a private, confidential, and non‑institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery, offering a variety of specialized services for adults.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with preference for psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications, and correct administration.

License/Certification: Currently licensed in the State of Ohio as an RN, current CPR certification, and current CPI certification.

This is a full‑time position, which will include weekends and holidays.

Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, but we will train the right person.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as are excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. A professional demeanor and appearance are required.

Position requires the ability to work productively and independently and to follow the security and confidentiality guidelines as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health.
