Lead Field Surveyor – Infrastructure & ODOT Projects

Spicer Group is seeking highly motivated surveying professionals to join our expanding operations in Maumee and Independence, Ohio

These positions support a variety of ODOT and infrastructure projects utilizing advanced surveying technology including UAS, mobile LiDAR, static laser scanning, multibeam sonar, metrology instruments, and the latest in robotics and GNSS systems. Candidates should be driven, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a growing team within a strong, established firm.

Full-time Licensed Land Surveyor responsible for leading and performing a range of surveying tasks including site and highway construction layout, ODOT design surveys, control networks, ALTA surveys, and precision industrial measurements. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and leadership within Spicer Group’s Ohio surveying operations.

Lead field operations for major infrastructure and construction staking projects. This long-term opportunity involves immediate leadership responsibilities and coordination on significant regional development. Due to active project phases through October 2028
, this position offers the potential to earn $150,000–$180,000 annually
, with the possibility of up to ten years of continued development work.
