Job DescriptionSole Hire, LLC is seeking a qualified and passionate Medical Assistant Instructor to support allied health education programs. This role is ideal for a clinically experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for successful careers in healthcare.
Position OverviewThe Medical Assistant Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, lab, and clinical instruction in accordance with the established curriculum. This individual will support student learning, skill development, and professional readiness while maintaining academic and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction aligned with the approved Medical Assistant curriculum
- Develop and maintain lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
- Evaluate student performance and submit grades within required timelines (typically within 48 hours)
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and retention
- Provide academic support, coaching, and guidance to students
- Maintain a safe, organized, and fully stocked lab environment
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with academic leadership to support program goals and student outcomes
- Uphold institutional policies, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
- Maintain a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment
- Full-time, on-site position
- Combination of classroom, lab, and clinical instruction
- Student-facing role with regular interaction and mentorship responsibilities
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable Medical Assistant clinical experience (required)
- Current CMA or RMA certification (required)
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program (required)
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively teach adult learners in classroom and hands-on lab settings
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred
- Comfort with basic technology and learning management systems
- Commitment to student success and educational excellence
