Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher (Full-Time)

📍 Maumee, Ohio 💰 $13–$21/hour (based on experience, education, and responsibilities)

Imaginative Beginnings-Maumee is seeking a full-time Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood, values play-based learning, and wants a stable, consistent schedule in a supportive center environment.

Most positions follow a typical daytime schedule (ex: 8:00am–5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30am–5:30pm.

👶 Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
  • Create and carry out lesson plans aligned with center philosophy and state standards
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Observe and document children’s growth and development
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families
  • Communicate daily with parents regarding children’s needs and progress
  • Maintain required classroom records (attendance, lesson plans, daily reports)
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure program quality and consistency
🎓 Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)
Preferred (not required):
  • Previous experience in a childcare or early childhood setting
  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

💪 Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
