Due to MSG’s continued growth, a new opening is available for a Project Accountant. We are looking for an individual who is self‑motivated, proactive, and possesses strong organizational and time‑management skills. Prior experience with an Architecture or Engineering firm is preferred; candidates from the construction industry will also be considered.

• Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain contract information, including accurate files of client and subcontractor agreements, and work closely with Project Managers & Principals to prepare project budgets and other pertinent contract information.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vision accounting software.
• Track monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders in coordination with Project Managers; may be required to visit other offices on occasion.
• Assist Project Managers and Corporate Leadership with account collections, receivables and payables.
• Collaborate closely with clients and subcontractors’ accounting departments.
• Perform other accounting responsibilities, including accounts payable and unit entry.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented problem solver.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Prefer an accounting or finance degree.
• At least five (5) years of accounting experience;
  Architecture or Engineering background preferred.
• Experience with construction or professional service firms considered.
• Proficiency with accounting software packages, Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint preferred, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
