About the Position
Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Illinois

Schedule:
5-6 call shifts per month; weekend availability for call only
Highlights:
Circulating role with diverse case mix including Ortho (total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, shoulder procedures), General, Neuro, Vascular, Gyn, and Urology
Focus on orthopedic specialization with emphasis on total joints and complex shoulder cases
Multidisciplinary team environment with patient-focused care model
Manageable call schedule averaging 5-6 shifts monthly
Opportunity to work in a collaborative, caring environment for both patients and staff
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of circulating experience required
Active Illinois RN license
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
Demonstrated proficiency in Ortho procedures: total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, shoulder scopes and replacements
Proficiency in General, Neuro, Vascular, Gyn, and Urology cases
Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to Operating Room nursing
Two supervisory references with employment dates
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
