As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring a caring and supportive environment for both patients and staff, adhering to the highest standards of patient-focused care and customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Performing at a competent level of nursing practice according to the standards of the Operating Room.
• Providing patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Maintaining an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members.
• Participating in 5-6 on-call shifts per month, with weekend call responsibilities.

Requirements for this position include:

• 3+ years of circulating experience in the Operating Room.
• Proficiency in Orthopedics, specifically total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements.
• Experience with General, Neuro, Vascular, Gyn, and Urology procedures.
• Active Illinois RN license as verified by Nursys.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment.
• Completion of a skills checklist pertinent to the Operating Room specialty.
