Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - Engineering & Manufacturing

Overview

We’re recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing organization in the Southwest Chicago area that is expanding its Talent Acquisition team. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with a strong background recruiting engineers and highly technical professionals within a manufacturing environment.

This role focuses heavily on recruiting engineers and other technical professionals supporting manufacturing plants. You will partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and build pipelines for critical engineering and technical roles.

Compensation
: $100,000 – $120,000 + quarterly incentive program

Work Schedule

• Onsite 5 days per week during the first 90 days

Candidates must have recent experience working directly for a manufacturing company in an internal Talent Acquisition role. Candidates whose background is primarily within staffing agencies or contract recruiting environments will not be considered.

• Manage full-cycle Talent Acquisition for salaried positions across manufacturing operations
• Lead engineering recruiting efforts for highly technical roles supporting manufacturing plants
• Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop recruiting strategies and workforce plans
• Build strong pipelines for engineers and technical professionals
• Support recruiting for manufacturing operations across multiple locations, including facilities in Mexico
• Recruit for additional professional roles including operations leadership, HR, finance, and other corporate functions as needed
• Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers throughout the hiring process
• Track recruiting metrics and improve talent acquisition processes and sourcing strategies
• Promote the organization’s employer brand through networking, sourcing, and industry outreach
• Manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced corporate recruiting environment

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition or corporate recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting engineers or highly technical professionals within a manufacturing organization
• Experience supporting hiring for manufacturing plants or industrial operations
• Stable employment history with limited job movement preferred
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools

• Experience supporting recruiting for global manufacturing operations
• Exposure to international hiring or coordination with global HR teams
• Experience recruiting for engineering, operations leadership, or plant management roles
• Experience supporting campus recruiting, internships, or university partnerships
• Knowledge of recruiting analytics, metrics, and talent acquisition reporting
