School Psychologist

This is a full-time on-site role for a School Psychologist located in Mattoon, IL. The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, supporting mental health initiatives, and providing counseling services to students. The individual will collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies, support student development, and ensure a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere. The role also involves contributing to the development of school-wide programs that promote emotional and psychological well-being.

• Knowledge and expertise in Psychology, including psychological theories and practices
• Experience in Counseling and Mental Health support
• Skills in conducting Psychological Assessments and providing data-driven insights
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience in an educational setting is a plus
