Accounting Manager – Technical Accounting

• Lead technical accounting research and application of U.S. GAAP across various transactions, including revenue arrangements and business combinations
• Support implementation of banking regulatory accounting and reporting guidance in collaboration with Risk and Legal departments
• Evaluate and document accounting conclusions for new transactions and strategic programs, preparing technical position papers
• Serve as a technical accounting advisor to various business units, providing clear guidance on complex matters
• Monitor and implement new accounting and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with FASB, SEC, and banking regulators

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 4–6 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and/or technical accounting roles within a large organization
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with complex accounting guidance, particularly in financial services
• Proven ability to prepare technical documentation and communicate complex issues to diverse audiences

• Experience in a regulated financial services environment, with exposure to regulatory guidance and examinations
• Experience partnering with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment
