Woodie's Auto Service, locally owned and operated, has been in business since 1963 with multiple locations in the Charlotte and Charleston area.
Job DescriptionThis position will be accountable for performing quality tire installations; battery installations; lubrication, oil and filter service; inspection procedures; and various other mechanical repairs as required on all makes & models of cars & trucks. This position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will be able to start working towards your A.S.E. Certification (company paid).
Responsibilities- Perform quality tire installations, battery installations, lubrication, oil and filter services, and various mechanical repairs on all makes and models.
- Conduct inspection procedures.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and crawl while operating equipment and tools.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must have own tools, including but not limited to pneumatic tools for tire removal and installation, oil changes, tire rotations, air filter and cabin air filter replacement, general fluid services.
Hourly plus commission. Estimated annual salary $45,000.00-$80,000.00 for Charlotte, NC; $65,000.00-$ for Huntersville, NC range. Pay varies by location and experience.
