Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Position Summary:

Sam’s Club seeks a hard-working, customer-focused associate to stock and maintain freezer, cooler, and deli areas. You’ll help ensure products are available and properly displayed, support customer service on the front lines in the deli department, and contribute to safe, sanitary operations that keep products ready for members.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps; forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures; cleaning the area; and reporting issues to Management.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation through premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
