Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted license as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an FNP preferred
Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinical
Works)Experience in utilization review and case management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
