Job Description
Job Title:
Welder
Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a well-established metal fabrication team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks in accordance with safety protocols and quality standards to support the production and repair of various parts and components. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding experience and a strong work ethic to contribute to a growing and dynamic company.
- Weld and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper assembly and welding procedures.
- Operate welding equipment and machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and production deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including minor repairs and equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Valid welding certification (if applicable) and any other relevant certifications.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
- Experience with welding machines and other related equipment.
