THOMPSON Child & Family Focus
OverviewTHOMPSON Child & Family Focus was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. Our continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma‑informed and evidence‑based/evidence‑informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0‑18) and their families, both virtually and in person.

- Work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Your schedule may vary based on clinical needs of the youth receiving services. This will also include being flexible to work rotating weekends.
- Provide individual and group therapy, complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, attend Child & Family Team meetings, and develop and monitor person‑centered plans for youth in our residential facility.
- Starting Pay Range: $55‑$60k annually

- Master's degree in human services related field required
- Associate or provisional license required
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience
- Availability to be flexible and work rotating weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent written and oral communication skills. Provisional or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina (depending on specific program).
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
- All potential candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
