Nursing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support field nurses (RNs, LPNs) and direct care staff, i.e Home Health Aides.
• Conduct home visits for supervisory oversight, case management, and quality assurance.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee client admissions, assessments, and development of individualized care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance, problem‑solving support, and intervention as needed.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff and care team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and family communication.
• Monitor care delivery for safety, quality, and satisfaction.
• Participate in audits, incident reporting, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health or community‑based care.
• Prior supervisory or case management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of homecare regulations and documentation standards (e.g., Medicaid, CMS, EVV systems).
• Strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to travel locally and conduct field supervision as needed.
• CPR certification required.
