Senior Accountant

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year. This is a permanent, full-time position located just outside of Charlotte in the Southeast metro area. Candidates must work in‑office.

Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full‑time position for a professional with a strong background in fixed assets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our company’s financial strategy and play a pivotal role in supporting our financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting for fixed assets.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Liaise with auditors and manage financial audits.

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

Provide insightful information and expectations to senior managers to aid in long‑term and short‑term decision making.

Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior level role.

Extensive knowledge and experience with GAAP and GL accounting.

Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

Must be able to work in‑office. Position is based just outside of Charlotte in the Southeast metro area.
