Tax Manager

Overview

Hire Finance Group is recruiting on behalf of a global, sustainable energy company. As they expand in the U.S., including major manufacturing operations, the Finance organization is growing to support a world-class tax function. This role offers the opportunity to build, lead, and shape a strategic tax department from the ground up.

• Review and manage all U.S. federal, state, and local tax filings
• Own preparation and review of the global tax provision under ASC 740
• Lead global tax planning, rate optimization, and strategic tax initiatives
• Manage transfer pricing planning, documentation, and compliance
• Support international structuring, expansion, and cross‑border tax strategy
• Partner with leadership on incentives, grants, and long‑term tax planning
• Oversee tax audits and manage external advisors and tax partners
• Drive process improvements and leverage tax technology to modernize workflows

• Bilingual proficiency in English & Mandarin — REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
• CPA and/or Master’s in Tax strongly preferred
• 6+ years of progressive tax experience
• Big 4 and/or large multinational corporate tax background preferred
• OPEN to RELOCATION
