Cadre Subs Duties

• Provide substitute teaching services in their assigned buildings, when needed
• Provide instruction support for students who are participating in distance learning activities at home
• Assist teachers with individual and small group instruction
• Provide support as needed for teachers in their assigned buildings

• Dates: 196 days
• Hours:
  
  7:15 am-2:30 pm

• $157.50 per day
• Hourly Rate for any Professional Development

• Participation in the district’s health, dental and life insurance programs
• Participation in the Teacher’s Retirement System
• Tuition Reimbursement for approved Master’s Program. Tuition is reimbursed at the rate of ½ of the cost of tuition up to a maximum of $1,700 per fiscal year. Reimbursement will only be provided for courses satisfactorily completed with a grade of "C" or better.
• Paid Holidays: (1) Labor Day; (2) Veterans Day; (3) Thanksgiving Day; (4) Christmas Day; (5) New Year’s Day; (6) Martin Luther King Jr. Day; (7) Presidents’ Day; (8) Pulaski Day; (9) Memorial Day; and (10) six (6) days of Spring Break.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College or University
• Illinois Substitute Teaching License
