Spanish Translator

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spanish Translator to support our school-age students and their families. The ideal candidate will facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking students, families, and school staff, ensuring that students have full access to educational opportunities and resources. This role requires fluency in both Spanish and English, strong cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively with children.

• Provide accurate and culturally sensitive translation and interpretation of spoken and written materials for students, parents, and school staff.
• Assist in parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and school events to ensure clear communication.
• Translate educational materials, including homework, assignments, newsletters, forms, and reports.
• Support classroom instruction by helping Spanish-speaking students understand lesson content.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies regarding student information.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student learning and engagement.
• Assist in fostering an inclusive environment where Spanish-speaking students feel supported and understood.

• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Familiarity with educational terminology and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
