Porter Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in long term care and EVS preferred but not required

• Maintain the resident rooms including but not limited to cleaning restroom, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, and removing trash

• Moves furniture to dry and wet mop floors

• Dusts and cleans all furniture and fixtures

• Terminal Cleaning of resident room upon transfer, discharge, or death

• Cleans and empties trash in soiled utility rooms

• Maintains facility appearance by cleaning all stairwells, washing windows in main lobby, offices, staff and resident lounges

• Cleans and polishes elevators as needed

• Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur

• Restocks and maintains a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart

• Ability to work independently or part of a group
