Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitation, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to identify injuries, conditions, and limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of injury prevention programs for athletes and active individuals.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and collaborate on treatment strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Current certification and licensure as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) in the state of New Jersey.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- Experience working with a diverse patient population, including athletes and active individuals of all ages.
- The starting salary for this position will be determined in alignment with fair market value and is commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
