Automotive Express Service Technician

Diehl Subaru of Massillon is seeking a skilled Automotive Express Service Technician to join our team in Massillon, OH. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for automotive repair and customer service who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As part of our service department, you will perform maintenance and repair services efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities

• Perform express maintenance and minor repair services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• Diagnose vehicle issues and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and timely to meet customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and company protocols
• Assist with inventory management and parts organization as needed
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and service team members to achieve service department goals

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive technician, ideally in express service or quick lube roles
• Familiarity with Subaru vehicles and manufacturer recommended maintenance practices is a plus
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
