- Greet, register, collect copays, and verify all patient information. Notify patient arrival and communicate delays in appointments in a timely fashion and offer rescheduling for timely and effective care of patients.
- Obtain proper insurance/authorizations and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
- Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
- Ensure that equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before every patient exam.
- Assist technologists with patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and applicable legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate the ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgment and the ability to remain professional in all situations.
- Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Have a structured work-approach, understand that complex problems exist and you are able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of previous medical office experience and intermediate computer skills
- Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office work experience is preferred.
- BLS certification

USD $16.00 - USD $22.00 per hour. Shift: Mornings. Variations:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
