We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Wantagh, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers' vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

• Perform wheel alignment services, including measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services.
• Utilize up-to-date equipment to ensure high-quality servicing and customer satisfaction.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or demonstrate equivalent education, training, and experience.
• State inspection license is preferred.

• Active role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
