Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Job Description: CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Order Picker to join our team. This role plays a key part in receiving, labeling, storing, and staging customer orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, can follow established procedures, and is committed to safety and accuracy.
Location: North Brookfield, Massachusetts
Responsibilities:- Receive pallets of cartons, identify items by code, and store or stage them appropriately
- Enter item codes and sizes into the computer (JDE) to review outstanding orders
- Select orders by due date, generate gummed labels, apply labels, and separate cartons by customer and ship date
- Operate BTs or forklifts to move pallets throughout the department
- Use shrink-wrap equipment to prepare full skids for shipping
- Store inventory on racks and pull items as orders are received
- Respond to handwritten notes when manual overrides are needed
- Verify carton counts on all skids before shipment
- Report equipment issues, questionable data, or material concerns to the supervisor
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills:
- Ability to pick and lift boxes following all training procedures
- Forklift operation experience is required — including loading/unloading trucks and placing products in correct storage areas
- Ability to operate a baler for processing cardboard, scrap rubber bales, and related materials
- 3–6 months of warehouse or related experience
- Pay: $19/hr.

Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, 1/2 unpaid meal period - Regular
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, 1/2 unpaid meal period
