The Carlisle Council on Aging and Human Services (COAHS) has an opening for a part-time driver to work one to two days per week and fill in as needed. COAHS drivers enjoy a competitive hourly rate and great job satisfaction driving older adults and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting passengers in and out of COAHS vehicles, utilizing wheelchair lift/ramp equipment as needed, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, and working as part of the COAHS transportation team.
The position requires driving passengers on local trips as well as day trips to areas such as Waltham and Boston.

- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, and working as part of the COAHS transportation team.
- Driving passengers on local trips and day trips to areas such as Waltham and Boston.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with clean driving and CORI records.
- Familiarity with local and surrounding communities; familiarity with and access to phone, computer, and email.
- Ability to interact in a positive, respectful, and patient manner with transportation clients and colleagues.
- Ongoing participation in safety or other training as required; subject to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Large vehicle driving experience is a plus.
This position is part-time. Non-union pay scale starting at Grade 2, Step 1 at $22.62/hour.
