Highly skilled in maintenance, truck driving, and use of transfer station equipment, including heavy equipment and hand tool safety. High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination. Have working knowledge of Transfer station rules and regulations concerning the processing of materials brought to the station, storing hazardous materials, and operating a compost area. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work efficiently without supervision.

Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
