Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support the day-to-day coordination of drivers, schedules, and transportation logistics. This role will assist with staff oversight, route assignments, and service compliance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with drivers and clients, and is willing to step in and drive when coverage is needed.

• Assist in managing daily transportation operations and dispatching routes
• Support driver scheduling, route adjustments, and call-offs
• Ensure vehicles and drivers are operating in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Provide on-the-road coverage when a driver is unavailable
• Maintain communication with clients, caregivers, and staff
• Help monitor performance, training needs, and policy adherence
• Assist with administrative duties such as documentation, incident reporting, and staff support

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass CORI/SORI and background screenings
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to problem-solve in real time
• Comfortable driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided if needed)

Full-time, with occasional on-call coverage as needed
