Fitness Specialist

• Set up equipment, adjust seats and weights according to member's workout charts
• Advise members when to increase weights and monitor form on each machine to keep them engaged in their program and motivated to achieve their fitness goals
• Responsible for the fitness area including replenishing supplies, equipment cleanliness and general maintenance
• Must be a strong communicator with a commitment to superior customer service excellence supporting members to achieve their goals with a keen eye on safety and proper form

• Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, have a commitment to fitness and wellness and continuous learning
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills. Ability to engage and retain personal training clientele
• Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate individuals toward safely achieving fitness goals
• Ensure organization, appearance, general maintenance and safety of fitness areas
• Provide accurate information and promote Center programs and services
• Specific Healthtrax fitness training is provided and compliance will be inspected
• Provide immediate, efficient and friendly customer service in person and over the phone
• Team player assisting with various Center programs and service activities, as needed
• Our ideal candidate is pursuing or has earned a degree in Exercise Science, Physiology or related field and, or has or is working towards a nationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification
• CPR, First Aid, AED Certified, or willing to complete upon hire
