Position SummaryThe Service Technician II is a mid‑level field technician responsible for performing advanced pool service, diagnostics, and repairs with limited supervision. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, independent route management, and the ability to handle more complex equipment repairs and customer concerns.
Service Technician II team members are trusted to manage service calls efficiently while mentoring Service Technician I team members and upholding Easton Select Group’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage and complete daily service routes
- Perform seasonal pool openings and closings
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing
- Troubleshoot leaks and equipment performance issues
- Test, balance, and treat pool water chemistry
- Install replacement parts and minor equipment upgrades
- Identify upsell opportunities for repairs, equipment replacements, and service agreements
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job notes
- Provide professional communication with homeowners and customers
- Assist in training and supporting Service Technician I team members
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- 2+ years of pool service or related mechanical field experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred:
- Pool operator certification (CPO or equivalent)
- Experience with pool automation systems
- Customer service and sales experience
- Advanced understanding of water chemistry and balancing
- Equipment diagnostics and repair
- Plumbing and leak detection
- Electrical troubleshooting (basic low‑voltage systems)
