Overview

Join to apply for the Insulation Installer role at Installed Building Products
. Earn $22–$30 hourly, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and log materials on a truck.
  • Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
  • Cut insulation to size and install in walls, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
  • Staple, glue, wire, nail, or operate equipment for loose‑fill or foamed insulation.
  • Drive a company vehicle and maintain tools and truck if required.
  • Observe job site safety rules and locate MSDS packets in your vehicle.
Role Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Installation experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable using standard hand tools.
  • Able to work in tight spaces, attics, and crawlspaces.
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs and bend, twist, and turn the body at shoulders, waist, and knees.
  • Stand for extended periods and climb ladders or scaffolding.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Demands

As an insulation installer, you will face lifting heavy materials, bending and stooping in tight spaces, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. You must stretch, reach overhead, handle tools with dexterity, and endure long hours of repetitive movements. Strength, endurance, and flexibility are required to prevent injury.
