Overview
As a HVAC/R Service Technician, you will repair, maintain, replace and retrofit all manner of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment for the benefit of our customers.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair various types of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling systems.
- Troubleshooting and service on building HVAC control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and determine the necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform system upgrades and controller cutovers
- Perform wiring checkout and assists in systems start-ups
- Perform programming sequence checkout
- Work independently
- Assist in the training of other technicians
- Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and service.
- Work in a professional manner in both occupied finish spaces and construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- 5+ years in HVAC technology, troubleshooting, system controls and repairs
- Experience reading and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Building Automation System and Chiller repair/cooling towers and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- EPA Universal refrigerant certification required
- Knowledge of safety practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
