We are looking for a road mechanic to join our growing team. The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks or forklifts. Forklift knowledge is a definite plus. After a training period, the applicant would be provided with a service van to visit customer locations to fix forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. A gas card, cell phone, and tablet may be provided for work-related travel and calls.

The technician may not need to report to the main office daily, as travel can start from home to the first customer and continue to other sites. Experience with technology is a plus, as hours and job-related tasks are logged through a tablet. Family-owned for 35 years, with excellent pay and benefits.

• Mobile field repairs
• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete any required documentation, including work-orders
• Keep job site/work area neat, clean, and organized
• Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
• Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department
• Ensure work is conducted safely for the employees, customers, the public and the environment

• At least one year of mechanical experience
• Team member with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated and professional
• Possess own tools (employer may help with some new tool expenses through tool allowance)
• Possess a valid driver's license
