Overview
Account Executive – IT ( MSP ) role at ITC Worldwide. The account executive is an experienced hunter who will help drive growth and development of the clientele base, working alongside the VP of Sales to provide best-in-class IT solutions and control earning potential.
RoleAccount Executive – IT ( MSP). The role focuses on acquiring new business for a managed IT services provider.
Responsibilities- Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships.
- Identify prospect requirements including technical, infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements; call prospects to continually find new customers and projects.
- Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals.
- Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services.
- Work with the marketing team to develop informational seminars, marketing material, targeted campaigns, and qualified leads.
- Qualify opportunities to determine scope of work.
- Manage pipeline and move opportunities through to close independently.
- Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and build long-lasting relationships.
- 5+ years of experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers in an account executive or sales role, specifically in the tech space (direct MSP experience preferred).
- Ability to identify client pain points and offer solutions based on feedback.
- Ability to target potential clients and book exploratory meetings.
- Proven track record of sales performance including new business development.
- Ability to travel throughout the area for client-facing meetings.
Uncapped commission opportunity plus base salary and benefits. US hiring range: from $150,000 – $175,000 per year, with OTE. ITC maintains broad salary ranges to account for knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, locations, products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on these factors and internal equity.
