Shift Supervisor Trainee

. This entry‑level, short‑term role prepares you for higher‑level supervisory positions such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor.
The trainee performs basic operations and management training, learns customer loyalty through exceptional service, and absorbs CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles, supporting store execution, performance, and consumer loyalty.
Essential Functions- Work effectively with store management and crews.
- Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer proficiency.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed.
- Experience in retail.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred but not required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours29 hours
Pay Range$17.00 – $26.00 per hour
