Thirwood Place, Cape Cod's premier senior living community, has a great opportunity to join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook.
We are known for creating a high-end five-course a la carte dining experience with a varied menu daily. This is a UNIQUE opportunity to work in the high-end culinary field without the grind of typical culinary hours. The Line Cook rarely ever works past 8 pm as our dining operation has set hours for residents. We’re offering competitive pay based on experience and a chance to work in a comfortable environment.
Line Cook job requirements:
Candidate must be outgoing & good with stressful situations. Must have an overall general knowledge of food & sanitation. Excel with guest satisfaction & personnel relationships. Be neat & organized, & have a willingness to work well with & be able to teach others.
When required, the Line Cook also fills in for &/or assists the line cooks to make sure that the kitchen runs smoothly.
Responsibilities- Take charge when the executive chef is off duty.
- Assist with the planning of menus & meals.
- Oversee the preparation & service of food.
- Fill in for & assist line cooks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- The Line Cook reports directly to the Executive Chef and is instrumental in the Presentation, Quality, & Success For Our Food Operation.
