The Inn has 217 rooms and suites, from the historic Main Inn to dozens of cottage-style buildings with flower-lined brick walkways and breathtaking views.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting guests with their telephone orders; announcing current menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and suggesting additional menu options.

• Promptly serving food while ensuring quality and accuracy of orders
• Maintaining proper presentation of all food deliveries
• Performing all duties and adhering to the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards
• Performing other tasks as assigned

• Prior experience in Room Service or as a Server is preferred but not necessary
• Availability to work through the fall preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work for long hours
• Servers should also be well groomed
• Superior organizational skills
• Can work well in a team setting as well as independently
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Ensures proper methods of payment from guests
• Follows direction well
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Being flexible with schedules and hours (including weekends & holidays)
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals/products
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record necessary
• Current TIPS Alcohol Certification or comparable alcohol service certification
