A position at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) focused on emergency veterinary medicine. We are seeking an ECC Veterinarian to join a team of clinicians, specialists, and nurses who are passionate about compassionate care and comprehensive, quality medicine.

As an emergency associate, you’ll support our staff, interns, and residents and contribute to advancing veterinary medicine through education.

About This RoleTo succeed as an ECC Veterinarian at CCVS, you will be able to:
- Efficiently triage, stabilize, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Ensure proactive client communication and exceptional medical treatment.
- Cultivate a consistently positive work environment.
- Engage in proactive collaboration with team members to optimize patient care and promote teamwork.
- Provide comprehensive education to clients on various injuries, illnesses, and treatment protocols.
- Proactively cultivate and strengthen client, patient, and referring veterinarian relationships.
To be considered for this role, you must be a DVM, VMD, or equivalent and able to obtain licensure in the state of MA. Additionally, an internship or experience in an emergency setting is required. Our ideal candidate collaborates well with diverse teams throughout the organization, thrives in high-stress situations, and maintains composure while enjoying a fun, dynamic environment. Strong critical thinking, motivation, and a demonstrated commitment to continuous education are essential.

Four-day/week schedule. Competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $215,000 annually, commensurate with experience and schedule, plus eligibility for a pooled production bonus program. Relocation assistance if needed. Opportunity to work at both our Buzzards Bay and Dennis locations, offering flexibility and convenience.
Support Staff We have expanded our support team to maximize quality of life for CCVS employees. Staff includes over 60 veterinary technicians (licensed and VTS), assistants and liaisons, and doctors’ assistants for medical record support.
