We’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Buzzards Bay and Dennis, MA. This full‑time role will allow you to advance your skills in a cutting‑edge specialty environment while helping pets and families in urgent medical situations.

IDDEN. AboutThe Role
- Work 4 x 10‑hour shifts, including overnights, swings, weekends, and holiday rotations and be willing to work shifts in both locations.
- Be a key player in the emergency team: from triage and stabilization to inpatient care and discharge.
- Perform advanced nursing care on critically ill patients, using technical skills and compassionate advocacy.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and colleagues to deliver gold‑standard care in fast‑paced conditions.
- Conduct emergency triage, gather vitals, and obtain health histories using EMRs.
- Assist in stabilizing and monitoring critical patients on arrival and during hospitalization.
- Execute technical nursing duties: venipuncture, IV catheter placement, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia monitoring.
- Support clinicians during procedures with induction, prep, monitoring, and recovery.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with team members and pet owners.
- Current CVT, LVT, or RVT (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months).
- Ability to work shifts in both locations.
- Veterinary emergency experience is essential; anesthesia and emergency procedure monitoring preferred.
- RECOVER certification and/or VTS ECC credentials a plus or strong desire to pursue specialization.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A calm, adaptable mindset with strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
- Competitive pay range $22 to $35/hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
- Sign‑on bonus up to $2,500.
