The Certified Nursing Assistant assists Physicians and Nurses to meet the healthcare needs of patients.
Certified Nursing Assistant Schedule- Part‑Time
- Full‑Time
- Day Shift
- Evening Shift
- Night Shift
Minimum Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certified by a professional organization in the state.
- Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
- Acute care experience preferred.
- Takes vital signs, height, and weight.
- Assists with PPDs and EKGs.
- Draws blood.
- Measures and records intake and output.
- Assists with patient treatments such as dressing changes, decubitus ulcer care, and tracheostomy care.
- Adheres to Universal Precaution procedures and established Infection Control procedures.
- Schedules appointments.
- Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills.
- Is proficient with CPR and receives re‑certification training annually.
- Assists in cleaning, sterilizing, and securing of equipment.
- Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
