Location:
Weymouth, MA - Outpatient Treatment Program

Schedule: 32 hours a week

Week 1:
Mon, Tue, Thur, Sat

Week 2:
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri

Pay rate: $30.50/hour (LPN), $32.50/hour (RN). $3.00/hour weekend differential

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Controlling, counting, and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information related to medication-assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician’s orders.
• Assisting in the admission process and documenting substance use diagnosis as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must demonstrate appropriate independent judgment in resolving problems and emergencies.
• Effective communication skills in written and oral forms, capable of working in a diverse, interdisciplinary setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient healthcare preferred.
