Overview
The Tradeshow and Events Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing all aspects of Schylling’s tradeshow and showroom activity. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful tradeshow experiences that align with our marketing objectives. While at events, you are also responsible for sales support, including direct customer facing activities, order taking and administrative duties.
You are responsible for managing inventory and executing delivery of product samples for trade shows, customer Planogram rooms, marketing events, and Schylling North Andover showroom.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of Schylling trade shows and Schylling showroom activities.
- Oversee on-site set-up and breakdown of booth and product for all Schylling trade shows.
- Travel to show site for set-up, breakdown and being present during shows is essential to the role.
- Manage sample plan and ensure all required samples and supplies are at all shows, events, or meetings.
- Oversee contracts and payments for furniture ordering, electrical, freight and labor.
- Work with Product Department and Marketing for trade show planning, layout, graphics and displays.
- Order and maintain booths supplies.
- Manage storage of tradeshow booth with 3rd party warehouse.
- Ensure tradeshow booth is consistently maintained and in good condition.
- Update Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and North Andover showrooms twice a year with new samples, catalogs and other needs.
- Assist in creation & maintenance of annual trade show budget.
- Coordinate all show services with contracted vendors.
- Prepare sales team with all information needed to help with shows they are attending and assist with travel arrangements for trade events.
- Represent Schylling at industry trade shows by presenting our product line to Sales Reps and customers, which may include order entry and other sales activities.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of Schylling’s annual sales rep meeting.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Must handle pressure positively and meet deadlines consistently. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have strong computer skills; computer literate in MS Office, customer vendor management websites/internet.
- Must maintain a positive attitude in a high paced environment.
- Travel domestically, as needed, to trade shows.
- Work occasional nights and weekends based on necessity and trade show schedule.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50
Ibs. - Ability to occasionally stand for long periods of time.
- Occasional exposure to dirt and dust.
- Up to 50% travel.
- Assorted Tasks as needed.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
