Vulcan Forms Inc. seeks a Senior Global Supply Manager (SGSM) for our Devens, MA location.
Job PurposeThe Senior Global Supply Manager leads sourcing strategy and supplier management for high‑value, technically complex categories critical to Vulcan Forms’ production. This role requires strategic depth, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Key Accountabilities- Develop multi‑year sourcing and cost roadmaps aligned with company growth plans.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, capacity, and long‑term supply terms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive‑level supplier relationships.
- Mentor and support junior GSMs in project execution and negotiation strategy.
- Lead cross‑functional efforts to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with supplier development, qualification, and risk assessments.
- Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components.
- Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and lead‑time reduction.
- Prior exposure to startup or high‑growth manufacturing environments.
Compensation and Benefits
Vulcan Forms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Vulcan Forms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match. The annual base salary range for this position is $113,000-$156,000.
