Westaff is looking for an Electromechanical Assembler in the Sterling, MA area for Immediate Start!
Location:
Sterling, MA
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm with OT available on Fridays!
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour DOE
As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will wire, solder, and test assemblies used in critical fire alarm, security, and emergency communication systems. You’ll work with a variety of components, and testing equipment to ensure each product meets our high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Perform electromechanical assembly of products according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Wire components, harnesses, and subassemblies with accuracy and neatness
- Solder through-hole and surface-mount components following industry standards
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of completed assemblies
- Experience in electromechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, or related manufacturing work
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Strong soldering skills (IPC certification a plus, but not required)
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to use multimeters and basic test equipment
