DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, you’ll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
- Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
- Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
- Basic troubleshooting/retesting of electronic assemblies.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
Note:
Contractor selected will be required to start and train on first shift before moving to third shift.
First Shift Training
Hours:
Day shift, Full-Time (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday
Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time (Fri-Sun) 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM Friday through Sunday, with possibility for Overtime
Job Details- Must be a US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain Interim Secret Clearance
- 4/10 Work Week
- 3rd Shift
- $28.00/hr.
- Duration: 2/16/2026-7/31/2026
- Non-Exempt
- Contract Position
- Worker will work Onsite Full Time
MANDATORY:
- Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
- Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
